Candlelight Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga
Monthly Full Moon Series
Each month, the full moon offers a quiet moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
Our Candlelight Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga Full Moon workshop invites you into an evening of deep rest and gentle reflection at Yoga Among Friends in Downers Grove.
Practicing under the soft glow of candlelight, we begin with Restorative Yoga, settling into fully supported postures that allow the body to release tension and the nervous system to unwind. From there, you will be guided into Yoga Nidra meditation, a deeply restorative practice often described as “yogic sleep.”
Together these practices create a calm and nurturing space to slow down, restore balance, and reconnect inward.
If you're new to these practices, you can learn more about them on our
Candlelight Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga Full Moon Series page.
Monthly Full Moon Series
In this candlelit restorative practice, we’ll rest in deeply supported postures that ground the body and soothe the nervous system. Guided Yoga Nidra will carry you through moonlit forests, shadow and flame, the wisdom of release, and the renewal that follows—like tracing infinity across the night sky.
This class is an invitation to align with the rhythm of the season, to pause, reflect, and reconnect to your inner self.
Let this be your time to breathe between chapters, a moment to soften, realign, and listen inward.
