Yoga, mindfulness and breathing can be ideal tools to assist tweens and teens with their busy schedules, social pressures, the demands of school and fluctuating hormones.
Anna Phillips leads a class specifically designed for tweens & early teens to work on increasing strength, flexibility and comfort in their changing bodies—all while relieving the stress and anxiety of daily life. By learning to listen to the breath, students develop techniques to calm the mind and release tension. With a regular practice, they'll experience greater confidence and self-acceptance. Yoga and meditation will help regulate their mental and emotional states, which in turn promotes better focus, clarity, and creativity. Teens leave feeling calm, relaxed and more confident! And it’s FUN!

If your child(ren) is new to Yoga Among Friends, please read our Liabilty Release Policy and complete the online waiver for each child that you are enrolling. All our customers, including children, are required to complete this form prior to attending any of our drop-in classes, workshops, or any other program offerings. Note: you only need to fill out the waiver form once for each child.
