The Kleshas Book Study - November

The Kleshas Book Study - November

Yoga Among Friends (map)

The book cover for The Keishas: Exploring the Elusiveness of Happiness by Deborah Adele

With Laura Jane Mellencamp

Meets 2 Saturdays: Nov 8 & Dec 20
12-1:30pm

Cost
$55 for the series (both sessions - save $5)
$30 for single session

Book
$15 – The book can be purchased directly through Jaclyn Jackson via Zelle (Golden Hour Yoga LLC, goldenhryoga@gmail.com) or with cash at the studio.

Why does happiness so often feel just out of reach? In her newest book, The Kleshas: Exploring the Elusiveness of Happiness, Deborah Adele explores the five root causes of human suffering described in yoga philosophy and how they shape the way we see ourselves and the world.

The Yoga Sutras teach that the kleshas create “appealing truths” that look satisfying but ultimately keep us trapped in cycles of need and dissatisfaction. Adele brings these ancient insights into everyday life, showing us how the kleshas appear in our thoughts and choices, and offering simple, attainable practices to loosen their grip.

Join us for a two-part book study as we dive into Adele’s thoughtful reflections and practical guidance. Together, we’ll explore how the kleshas show up in our daily lives and discover tools to live with more clarity, freedom, and peace.

This study is open to all, whether you are new to yoga philosophy or continuing to deepen your practice. Through reading, reflection, and conversation, we’ll create a supportive space for learning and growth.

Reserve your spot today and join us as we journey into the heart of yoga wisdom.
