Are you curious about yoga and wonder what it means to have a personal practice? Do you feel nourished after a yoga class and long to carry that experience off the mat?

This 4 week series is designed to give you an overview of what yoga is beyond the physical practice, why a daily practice is beneficial, and how to create a home practice that fits into your daily schedule.

A daily yoga practice has many benefits such as helping improve your balance, strength, flexibility, and increased focus. It helps to build resilience but most importantly it helps to give you a sense of peace within, coming home to yourself.

Each week we will have time for discussion, for movement, and for personal reflection. You will have resources to keep and encouragement along the way. All levels of students are welcome!

About Nadine Bahaveolos

After experiencing the healing benefits of yoga in her own life, Nadine became trained as a certified yoga instructor, first with YogaFaith and then here at YogaAmong Friends with Laura Jane and Julie Pate. She holds 2-200 hour certifications and is currently enrolled in 300 hr training with Living Soul Institute.

Areas of study and interest include yin yoga, breathwork/pranayama, restorative yoga, as well as Ignatian spirituality and contemplative prayer.
