Please join us in honoring the life of the inspirational Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for a practice that exemplifies who she was to the country, women and all humans.

Our practice will combine asanas that allow us to be in reflection of the justice and equality that RBG represented. There will be asanas for how she led with her heart in creating compassionate laws that allowed equal rights for all, and strong asanas for how she was a physically and emotionally powerful woman who was a role model for the balances of life.

This will be an inclusive practice for all abilities and all are welcome to this event to meet you where you are at. Our time together will be connected through RBG’s empowering words and asanas that honor her memory.

All proceeds from this special event will be donated to The Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research in honor of Candy Stevens who was so dear to Yoga Among Friends and who, like Ruth Bader Ginsburg, fought bravely against pancreatic cancer.

What the monies from the funraiser can do:

  • $250 buys supplies for a research lab.

  • $500 can help fund an antibody for research

  • $1000 will fund a researcher for a week

  • $10,000 helps fund an organoid, which is a critical tool in personalized medicine.
