Lisa offers a gentle, welcoming presence and a class atmosphere rooted in kindness, breath, and ease. Her teaching invites you to arrive just as you are—moving mindfully, resting when needed, and listening closely to your body. With an emphasis on steady breathing and presence, her classes feel grounding, supportive, and quietly nourishing.
Lisa has been practicing yoga since 1998 and brings over 25 years of experience to the mat. She completed her teacher training at Moksha Yoga Center in 2004 and has studied with respected teachers including Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Tim Miller, Kino McGregor, Ana Forrest, Seane Corn, and Stephanie Snyder.
Yoga has been a steady companion for Lisa through every season of life, shaping her belief that any yoga is better than no yoga. She is grateful to share the practice in a way that feels accessible, heartfelt, and aligned with the warm, community-centered spirit of Yoga Among Friends.
Lisa has lived in Downers Grove for more than 18 years with her husband, Ryan, and their three children.
