This progressive introductory course is designed for students new to yoga (or those who need a stronger foundation) to explore the basics, develop strength, balance, and flexibility and experience the peace of mind yoga promises. In this class we will cover:

• the fundamental poses

• diaphragmatic breathing

• grounding

• alignment

• meditation

• the energy body

• the rich history and tradition of yoga

People of every fitness level, from the tri-athlete to the sedentary individual can participate in this course in a safe, fun and caring environment.

New Student Information & Waiver

If you are new to Yoga Among Friends, please complete our New Student information & Liability Release form. All our customers are required to complete this form prior to attending any of our drop-in classes, workshops, or any other program offerings. Note: you only need to fill out the waiver form once.

Online Payment $18/single class or $145/10 class pass

Drop-in Payment $17 cash or check at the door; or use your Class Pass

Feel free to drop-in to our special holiday class.  If you pay by cash or check at the door, save $1.  Note: YAF only accepts cash and checks at the studio.
