At Yoga Among Friends you will find much more than just yoga. In addition to being a yoga studio, YAF is a holistic healing center. We work with other healing arts professionals which compliment yoga in helping individuals discover physical and mental health and well being. In addition, throughout the year YAF invites professionals within the fields of integrative medicine, alternative healing, and much more to give lectures and workshops.

Massage Therapy helps to improve the functioning of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems. It can also accelerate the rate at which the body recovers from illness and injury. Each session is created with an open heart to treat the individual. Daniela believes that true healing comes from within the individual and she works to facilitate an environment where healing can occur.

When calling to schedule an appointment, please be ready to discuss your needs and goals, as sessions over 90 minutes may be necessary depending on your individual needs. Your appointment time will be reserved specifically for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so 24 hours prior to avoid being charged for the session.

Specializing in classical pilates, Pilates Road is dedicated to helping clients improve the state of their mind, body, and spirit, exercising in a safe, friendly environment. Pilates Road is part of our community of like-minded practioners who practice under the umbrella of Yoga Among Friends in the "loft" located on the 3rd floor. We are equipped with Pilates apparatus, such as reformers, cadillac, chairs, barrels, spine correctors and lots of room for mat classes.

Eva Rosenthal is a Level I Certified Peak PilateSystem® Instructor and teaches classical Pilates. She has been practicing and studying Pilates for over 10 years.

Healing Yoga Foundation (HYF) is a nonprofit service, support, education, and research institution dedicated to health, healing, and personal development through Yoga. We are committed to serving all who wish to benefit from Yoga by respecting and meeting the needs of the individual regardless of physical capability, health, background, age, experience, or financial means. Laura Jane and Janet Bowen are currently studying yoga therapy with them. Kate Holcombe, Founder and President, and Chase Bossart, Director of Therapy and Education, have both taught workshops sponsored by Yoga Among Friends.

The Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation (KHYF) was founded by TKV Desikachar and Kausthub Desikachar, son and student of TKV Desikachar. The KHYF is the official umbrella organization representing the complete yoga tradition of T Krishnamacharya.
The KHYF’s objectives include:
- Increasing awareness of yoga and its many applications.
- Promoting and sharing yoga as an alternate healing methodology.
